    How to install Android 4.4.3 Kitkat in Samsung Note 1 N7000

    Samsung Note 1 N7000 is a 5,29" screen touch device that falls in the first product line of phablet by Samsung. This device offers you a WXGA HD AMOLED resolution where you get max output of 800 x 1.280. Being a big size phone it offer simple usage and also a bit of good performance. The device is powered Dual core ARM cortex A9 1.4Ghz cpu and has a 8 Megapixels camera with Digital Zoom. This device has a hardware through which it can run Android 4.4.3 Kitkat on the same. The device comes out with Gingerbread operating system and does not bring out major benefits.

    Today I am going to show you how you can simply upgrade the device to Android 4.4.3 Kitkat and get all latest features on the same. Through Kitkat update you can have all new app support and enhanced features. The rom is stable and works really well. It is a custom rom so we have to root the phone and install this. Without that it is not going to work. There are few things you have to check before moving ahead. It is essential that you follow my below mentioned steps properly. Rooting also void phone warranty. So it is necessary that you must go ahead on your own risk.


    • Start by taking data backup. Copy all your phone data to your pc. You can use Samsung Kies for the same. It is a pc suite software which is easy to use and will offer you easy backup. Here we are going to flash rom that means you will lose everything. So it is good to backup.
    • Charge your phone to maximum before moving ahead. There must be more than 60% of battery left in your device. Never root or flash the rom if you had not charged the device.
    • Go in settings and tap on developer options. There tap on usb debugging.
    • Just install root checker app in the phone and ensure that it is rooted. Do not move ahead if the device is not having rooting access. The process will fail.
    • Download latest USB Drivers for your phone and install in the PC
    • Download KitKat 4.4.3 Android Firmware Package
    • Download Google Apps Package
    • SD Card with more than 2GB of free space.

    Installation Process:

    • Once you are done with above thing just connect the phone to pc to check that your system is having all latest usb drivers installed.
    • It is recommended that you must root your phone and install custom recovery on the same. So that it is easy to flash any rom on it.
    • Now connect the phone to your pc and then move the downloaded packages in it. This are KitKat 4.4.3 Android Firmware
    • Package and Google Apps Package.
    • Just move them in the internal storage. Once done you have to disconnect the phone and boot it in recovery mode. Switch off the phone.
    • And then hold the volume up + menu + power key at the same time. The system will restart in recovery mode.
    • From recovery mode choose install zip from sd card. Here you have to choose the firmware package. First choose the kitkat package and install it. Wait back until the setup is over. The next thing you have to do is choose Google Apps Package.
    • Install the same. Once done just reboot your phone.
