Installing Android 4.4.3 KitKat in LG Google Nexus 4

LG Google Nexus 4 still run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. As per the specification this phone is capable of running Android 4.4.2 KitKat. But LG has officially not offered any information on the same. Still you can try tapping on the update to find out if there is any OTA update released. Today I am going to give you the method of adding Android 4.4.3 KitKat Official Stock Firmware on LG Google Nexus 4. This is a stock rom so there is nothing to worry about the warranty issue. It is the factory rom.

My process will help those who are unable to get the OTA updates due to various reason. LG Google Nexus 4 features a True HD IPS Plus capacitive display on the front which his offer amazing screen quality. It is powered by Qualcomm APQ8064 Snapdragon chipset. It runs on Quad-core 1.5 GHz Krait processor and 2GB ram. The overall hardware config makes the device ideal for running Kitkat. Being an official rom you have to worry less about losing out device warranty.

But still before using my method tap on settings and then tap on about phone. Go in that and look for Check Software Updates. If the update is released for your region then you can install that automatically. If not then you can simply follow the method that I am providing below.

    • Here we are going to flash the Android 4.4.3 KitKat Official Stock Firmware on LG Google Nexus 4. This is going to wipe out the entire internet storage. So backup your data.
    • Charge your phone to maximum before moving ahead.
    • There are chances that if you did not perform the steps properly the phone can brick. You can start the process back again from start.
    • Go in settings and tap on developer options. Enable usb debugging from there.
    • Ensure that your windows system has the latest LG Google Nexus 4 usb drivers installed in your system.
    • You have to setup ADB and Fastboot on your system.
    • Download Android 4.4.3 Factory Image.
