How To Root LG G Flex

LG G Flex is the first ever phablet from the brand with Curved OLED display launched at the costly price of Rs. 69,999/- The device is powered with 2.26 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974) processor along with 2GB LP DDR3 RAM and of course a huge 6-inch HD Curved Plastic OLED display. Although the phone is rich in specifications and processing power with decent display, you might feel the need of rooting the phone to get the Administrative access.

Why Administrative access? Well, although you own an Android phone but you are not the administrator of the same. There are many tasks or applications that requires Root access to perform. You can check the list of some very important Application here that cannot be run without rooting. But remember, there is a disadvantage of rooting as well, which in result avoids your phone's warranty. In my experience, every Android smartphone and Tablets must bee rooted if you really use them as a Smartphone. So, today we are going to see how can we Root LG G Flex. Before that, let's have a look at the requirements without which we cannot perform the rooting process.

    Rooting G Flex

    • First of all extract the Downloaded Rooting Package to a new folder on your desktop.
    • Make sure you already installed LG USB Drivers on your computer.
    • Now connect G Flex to the computer using USB Cable.
    • Open the extracted folder and double click "root.bat" to run.
    • It will ask you to 'Press any key to continue'. So go ahead and hit any key on your keyboard.
    • Rooting must start by now. Dont do anything on your computer and the phone unless you get any instructions to do on the screen.
    • Once completed you will see a message in the command prompt and the phone should reboot automatically.

That's it. Your LG G FLex is now rooted. You can download any Root checker program from Google Play to confirm the same. Also you should see a Super SU in your Apps drawer. Have Fun.
