    Rooting Micromax Canvas Turbo A250

    Canvas Turbo is one the most powerful phablets from Micromax which was launched last year in October at the price of Rs. 19,990/- The device has been powered with 1.5 GHz MediaTek MT6589T quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 13 Megapixel feature packed camera along with a Full HD 1080p display. Although the phone appears quite powerful in itself but there are still many important tasks which requires the Root access of the system.

    Rooting an Android device allows you to carry out Administrative tasks on your smartphone or tablet. Also there are many important applications which wont work unless they get root access. So, there are advantages as well as disadvantages of Rooting which is your device's warranty gets avoided when you root the phone. But it is helpful in many ways. Now, if you know the benefits, you can simply Root your Micromax Canvas Turbo using the detailed step by step guide provided here.

    Before we go to the actual Rooting process, there are some perquisites you need to meet. And those are as follows:


    • First of all charge up your phone upto 70%. If the device gets drained out during the process, it may create problems.
    • Backup all important data from the phone because (not always) you may loose the data while rooting.
    • Go to phone's Settings > Development and Enable USB Debugging
    • Download Canvas Turbo USB Drivers and install them on your computer.
    • Download Canvas Rooting package from here and save it on your desktop.

    Once you are ready with all the above mentioned stuffs, we can move ahead to rooting process. But Note that although the process has been successfully tested on Canvas Turbo, we or this site would not responsible if anything goes wrong in your case. You need to do it on your own risk. Here we go:

    Rooting Process for Canvas Turbo A250:

    • After installing the USB Drivers on your computer, connect your phone to the PC using USB Cable.
    • Extract the downloaded Rooting package to a new folder on your desktop itself.
    • Once the phone is detected to the computer, open the extracted new Folder and double click to run "run.bat".
    • You will see a new Command Prompt on your computer screen asking you to Press and Key to continue.
    • Simply hit any key on the keyboard and dont touch the phone.
    • The rooting process should have been started. Wait for a while and let it do its work.
    • Once the process is completed, you should see a message in command prompt saying "Exploit complete: Press enter to reboot and exit". Now hit Enter key and all done.

    The phone should restart automatically. You can now disconnect the cable. Once the phone is booted completely you should see Super SU in the apps drawer which means your Micromax Canvas Turbo A250 is rooted successfully. Now you are the Administrator of its Android system.
