Microsoft’s SkyDrive getting converted to OneDrive

I just came through an interesting news, hence thought to share here with you guys, specially the ones who are using SkyDrive cloud storage. Microsoft today announced that his cloud service SkyDrive will be soon renamed to "OneDrive". We dont need to do anything from our end, everything will be done by Microsoft itself. They will keep our data safe where it is kept, only the name will be change. They have also released an introduction video for OneDrive, have a look:

Good share, but do you know why Microsoft is changing the name of SkyDrive?

It is because a UK based company named Sky broadcasting corporation has filed a trademark infringement lawsuit for its name "Sky". Microsoft has lost the lawsuite which forced it to change the name to OneDrive. The same thing happened earlier also with the name of "Metro" UI which was later changed to Start Screen, i guess.

Whatever, OneDrive seems much better than SkyDrive. I guess they might have set the name following Xbox One.
