Maxx has launched two new device lately – Maxx AX505 and the Maxx AX51. Both the phone are android based handset running on android 4.2.2 Jelly bean OS. User interface is fabulous and users can access all the latest games and apps from the android market. It has a 5inch 480X854 pixels capacitive touch display and the phone runs very smoothly as it is powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core Mediatek MT6572W processor. The internal memory and RAM of both the new handset are alike. That is 512MB RAM, 4GB internal memory expandable up to 32GB.

Maxx AX505 has a 3MP camera with LED flash and a 0.3MP camera that is front facing. Clicks and videos are fine but cannot be said to be the best. The phone doesn’t support 3G network unlike AX51. It has connectivity options like 2G (EDGE),Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth. Maxx AX505 is a dual SIM handset with dual standby. It has a 1700mAh battery giving a good backup to last for the entire day easily.

Overall the phone seems average. If we compare it with Maxx AX51, AX51 is better. All the features are same except for the 3G connectivity. Both the phone is priced the same at Rs.9,999/- this phone is available in two variants – White and Dark Blue.
