Installing Official Leaked Android 4.3 JellyBean Update in Galaxy Note 2 N7100

We all Galaxy Note 2 or Galaxy S3 users have been waiting for Android 4.2 update since long time but never had it, neither going to have it because Samsung has dropped the idea of Android 4.2 update, instead they arenow working on Android 4.3 which was revealed on August 25th. Now, i found the leaked version (which is also known as Test Build) of upcoming Android 4.3 JellyBean update for your Galaxy Note 2. This is the Official firmware on which Samsung is working as of now and will release it officially for Note 2 device later in November probably. But if you want you can experience the Android 4.3 JellyBean update right now on your Phablet by installing this LEAKED version of JellyBean 4.3.

All you have to do is simply follow my guide. I am going to give you a download link of this update that you can run the device. It will overwrite the existing phone OS giving you new feature and amazing performance. New updates make the device performance better. It enhances the output and gives you better solution. The build firmware version of this model is N7100XXUEMI6. It is officially released in Europe region only and none other had received it. So we are going to run a manual way of installing update. This update is leaked on web. That means it is not officially provided. The leaked update is then distributed and tested. It works well.

The process of installing an official update is far more different compare to installing a custom rom. We are going to use ODIN tool here. You have to take backup your phone data first. When you receive the update via OTA, after installation, the OS automatically optimize the phone. It does not wipe out your contacts, messages, email and settings. It is saved and remains in the device. But when you go ahead with a manual setup then the update might wipe out everything. So there is no guarantee that you will get the data or not. The best thing you must do is backup your phone completely. Even take a rom backup by rooting it. So that if this update setup fails you can restore it.

Following is the Firmware Details of update:

    • PDA: N7100XXUEMI6
    • CSC: N7100OXAEMI6
    • MODEM: N7100XXUEMI6
    • Version: Android 4.3
    • Build date: Sep 25, 2013
    • Regions: Open Europe

    Requirements :

    • Download the leaked Android 4.3 Jellybean Update and save it on your desktop
    • Download ODIN and install it in your system.
    • Download original Samsung USB drivers.
    • Backup your phone completely. Backup all your settings and data. If possible try to run a full image backup of the internal rom. You have to root your device for that. It is restoring your phone if any problem appears.
    • This new update will add Samsung Knox and Wallet in the device. It will also enhance the phone performance by making it more stable.

Re: Installing Official Leaked Android 4.3 JellyBean Update in Galaxy Note 2 N7100

    Installation Steps:
    • It is necessary that you must install original Samsung usb drivers with ODIN in your system.

    • Enable USB Debugging mode in the phone. Go in Settings > Developers Options > Usb Debugging. Enable it.

    • Now to install the leaked update you will have to boot the phone in download mode. For that first turn it on. Then hold the Volume Down + Power key for some time. The phone will boot up. Instantly hit Volume Up + Power and you will see an ODIN mode on the phone screen.

    • Connect the phone with your pc via original Samsung USB Cable.

    • Launch ODIN on your system. If the phone is detected and connected properly you will see the ID:COM section will turn to yellow or green. We can then move ahead with the installation.

    • Now you have to choose the downloaded files. When you extract the firmware zip file you will find multiple files in that. Keep them on desktop inside a folder. In ODIN click on ODA first and choose a file which has a code in the name. Then click phone and choose the file that has modem in the name. Then click on CSC and choose file which has csc in the name and in the same way click on PIT and choose .pit file. If you did not find any file then ignore it. Choose whatever you can locate.

    • Now after that in Odin check Reset Time and Auto Reboot. Leave other unticked.

    • If there is a .pit file in the package and then choose re-partition box or else leave it.

    • Once everything is fine click on Start. The installation process will start. Leave the pc and phone aside. This thing will take some time to finish. Do not disconnect the phone or do any changes. Just leave it aside when it is finally complete you will see the message on your screen. There will be a PASS message.

    • Once you got that disconnect the phone and reboot it.
