It is now possible to manually install Android 4.1.2 JellyBean on Galaxy Note II N7100 Smartphone. The value pack is XXDMC3 that adds more benefit to the device. This manual method of installation is good for those who missed the OTA updates. The new update is quiet important for Note II N7100 because it adds several improvements to the performance. After adding this overheating issue of cores in the phone is resolved. The device will gain more speed as well. The update is not officially provided in all region of world. It is provided in few selected countries and through this manual process you can also have the same in your device no matter is it is yet not available in your region.

XXDMC3 is an official update. So there is nothing to worry about the warranty. Also there is no limitation left for the devices model. It is going to work uniformly in ample of devices. Just follow the below steps:


Lets checkout the requirements you must full fill before going to for the update. Direct installation may generate some issues.
  • Backup all the important data from your device. You can use backup application like Titanium Pro or any other similar app for taking backup of all contacts, messages and multimedia files.
  • Download XXDMC3 ROM
  • Download and install ODIN in your PC.
  • Charge your phone. IT is necessary that it must have more than 50% battery left.

Installation Process :
  • Go in Settings in Galaxy Note II N7100 and tap on Developers. Then enable USB Debugging. Connect the phone with pc using original Samsung usb cable.
  • Keep the downloaded XXDMC3 ROM package on your desktop
  • Boot the device in download mode. For that Hold the Volume Up + Power + Center Key for some time. Once the phone is in download mode leave it aside.
  • Launch ODIN. It will take some time to identify the device. The COM section will turn Yellow.
  • Now once the phone is detected click on PDA and manually browse the JellyBean ROM placed on your desktop.
  • Add a tick mark on Auto Reboot & F. Press the START Button.
  • The installation process is now started. Wait back for some time unless the process is completed and you get proper indication on the screen. Let it be like that if it takes long time.

Once everything goes fine the new ROM will be installed on the device. Wait for some on first boot. The phone will initialize the os and scan the external storage. This might take some minutes
