The Aero theme that we got to see with the introduction of Windows Vista and Windows 7 has delighted millions of users with transparent glass effect and Flip 3D, Aero Snap, DreamScene, etc. But it seems like it dies with Windows 7 itself and wont be available in the upcoming Windows 8.
According to some sources Microsoft has worked very well with the Aero, which will be improved in Windows 8. In fact, Windows 8 includes a new customization option that automatically will change Aero theme color depending on the predominant color of the desktop image.
Aero has been formally dropped from Windows 8 but with the help of transformation pack you can fetch it back. Some applications like Modder can be useful for putting Aero Glass back into the RTM version of Windows 8.Version 6 of the tool perceives the Metro Desktop User Interface and Aero’s auto-colorization being used by default. Everything has been updated in the UX pack.
You can enable Aero Glass feature in Windows 8 theme by using Aero Lite. The theme of Windows 8 "Aero Lite" default is a matter of the most basic, but still allows you to enable Aero Glass in a few simple steps:
1. You have to set the default theme Aero Lite, right-clicking any empty area of the desktop, and then click Customize Windows Basic.
2. Then press Win + R to open the Run window.
3. Write WindowsAnytimeUpgradeResults.exe and press Enter. That will open a window that says that the update was successful.
