According to the Samsung announcement, Android ICS based Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (310) will hit Indian market by the end of May. It is a 7inch tablet featuring WSVGA PLS TFT touch screen display that offers 1024*600 pixels resolution. If compared to various latest Android 4 tablets, it is much sleeker and thin and weighs just around 350 grams.




In addition, the Galaxy Tab 2 310 is powered with 1GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM. It also features a front VGA camera for making video calls and a 3MP rear camera at the back side for capturing HD videos and images. As per connectivity, user will get sHSPA+ 21Mbps, Wi-Fi Direct and a USB 2.0 host. It also offers a good battery life with a 4,000 mAh battery.


The new galaxy Tab 2 310 comes preloaded with some great apps and games such as Skype for video calls, Angry Birds, Facebook for Android, Google Play store where we can download millions of apps. In addition, it is the first ever tablet that comes preloaded with Samsung’s cloud based AllShare Play service. Other great services that included with this are Touchwiz UI and the Hub apps – Reader. According to Ranjit Yadav, Samsung India mobile and IT applications head, “We offer widest range in terms of handsets to suit consumer needs, enabling them to make a choice.”


The Galaxy Tab 2 310 will be launched in India in the last week of this month, May in three variants, i.e. 8GB, 16GB and 32GB storage. And will cost around 23,000/- INR
