After running BlackBerry World event for 3 days, finally RIM has launched its most anticipated Blackberry OS 10 based developer alpha device. This is the first ever device running on BB OS 10 and launched for testing purpose, hence it is Code named as Dev Alpha Unite. This device is not meant for shipping to consumers, it will be just used by developers to improve the BlackBerry OS' future.
The new Dev Alpha is a QNX-based device that features a large 4.2-inch touch screen offering 1280 x 768 high resolution. In addition, device is running on 1GB Ram and as has 16Gb of internal storage with a microSD expansion slot and a mini-HDMI port. It has a super sleek body that makes it look beautiful. Blackberry 10 OS is said to be very smart operating system with lots new features like swipe gestures. Its keyboard is smart as well, while typing you get the words generated depending on the keys and you just need to swipe them.
According to few reports users will see completely different camera software in devices based on BB OS 10. It will have so-called timeline feature where you can access the camera cache incase you have missed to capture any special moment.
