Windows 10 - How to change System Tray Icons or Add and Remove icons

I was just wondering how can we add or remove icons that is shown by default in the Windows 10 System Tray? By default there are network, volume and notification (also battery icon for laptops). But how can we add more or remove any of those if required?

In earlier windows, we were able to do so by clicking the up arrow next to volume icon and clicking Customize. But in Windows 10 there doesn't seems to be any such option. Do you guys know if there is any way to do the same? Please help.

Yes, it is there. Microsoft cannot limit us with the default options. To Add/Remove or Change icons in System tray follow these simple steps:

    • Open Settings by clicking it from Notification Panel or from Start Menu.
    • Click System and then click Notifications & Action.
    • Now in the right pane click on 'Select which icons appears on the taskbar'

    • When you click the option, you will get the list of option to select which to make visible and which to hide.
    • Simply select by sliding the buttons and you are done. You can also enable to disable all icons at once.
