Cachecade 2.0 Error Write Cache Capable: NO

I am using the cascade version 2.0. The issue is that I am not able to create the cachecade driver as raid 1 or raid 10. And not able to work it as read and write cache? I got the message saying Write Cache Capable: NO". Does anyone know how to create the read and Wright drive, please help?

Try to enable the super sized cache. Here are the steps to do the same:
    • [li]Right click the raid controller[/li]
[li]Now click on create SSC (super sized cache).[/li]
[li]On the next screen select unconfigured SSD drive.[/li]
      [li]Then click add.[/li]
[li]Now create the SSD drive group and click the next tab.[/li]
[li]Then you will find the CSSC screen there you have to click the create tab.[/li]
      [li]Then click next.[/li]
      [li]Click finish for the confirmation.[/li]

Now you can see the super sized cache drive group in the logical view.

Thank you for the quick reply mate, but I already tried the steps mentioned. It only works for Write part, it wont work for the read part. You can only read the cascade using these I want to read as well as Wright. I want the write function also. Any other solution?

In order to get Write cache access you need the updated SSD cache firmware. The updated firmware will definitely solve your issue. If the issue is not solved then update your driver. There is LSI MegaRAID CacheCade Pro 2.0 software that will help you in this. I would like to tell you that the RS25 controllers on LSI2208 ROC Chip currently not supported read cache for SSD cache.
