Soon Windows 8 will be available in 3 different editions on Windows Market suitable for different types of users. Those 3 additions are : Windows 8, Windows 8 Pro and Windows RT.
There are lots of features as well in the W8 edition we used till now, but users willing to get some more, can go with the new Windows 8 Pro edition. With Pro edition, users get all the features available in Windows 8 plain edition as well as an updated Windows Explorer, Task Manager, better multi-monitor support and will also be able to switch languages like we did in Enterprise/Ultimate editions of Windows earlier.
People using ARM Processors can go with the newest member of Windows family called Windows RT. It is meant for only ARM users. This edition will contain touch-optimized desktop versions of the new Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote. Microsoft said “For new apps, the focus for Windows RT is development on the new Windows runtime, or WinRT, which we unveiled in September and forms the foundation of a new generation of cloud-enabled, touch-enabled, web-connected apps of all kinds.”
