Web browser very slow through Proxy on Firefox

When I use any proxy on Firefox I had seen that it is working very slowly. I am having a 1mbps internet connection and when I open any page through Google it is fast and very easy. But when I use proxy then the page display is very slow and if the page opens up the elements on it are messed up.

I am not able to do anything on that. I had seen that it takes several minutes for a page to load. But when I check the same on Internet Explorer or on Google Chrome then it works very fast and there is no issue at all. Want some help here.

Well I think this is a problem that is related to the version of Firefox browser you are using. You have to check what version you have. You have to simply update that and check back. If you have a very old version of web browser then you have to simply update that and then check back. There are many proxy services on the web that you can test out. If one is not working then try something else. You can also use add-ons that would give you an effective and fast surfing. Instead of using a website I think using an add-on would help you more.

Proxies works slow if the server is having too much load. It is not because of the browser. It is the proxy server you are using. You have to simply try some other networks and test out.

You can also reset the current proxy settings and then try back. For that you have to click on Tools and in that click on Options. Then go in the Advance section and click on the network connections. From here you can simply click on the reset proxy settings and done.

The issue will be resolved. I think that would be the fastest way to fix the issue.
