Re: How to fix Crashing, Freezing and Lag issues in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

To solve crashing issue while playing then go through the below steps:

First of all backup your ‘steamapps’ folder and after that clean reinstall of Steam (while doing this make sure the entire Steam folder is removed). Now Copy back over your ‘steamapps’ folder (replace the whole folder). Now once you finish this and after that Verify the integrity of Counter-Strike Global Offensive (CSGO) before launching it for first time and to do this you need to go through the below steps: go to the steam and after that make right click on the Counter-Strike Global Offensive (CSGO) and after that make click on the Properties. Now on the Properties go to the Local Files and after that make click on the Verify Integrity of Game Cache, now once you finish the Verify Integrity of Game Cache and after that start the game and then let me know.

If you’re game randomly crashes upon launching the game, ensure or try the following:

    1. Update your nVidia / ATI graphics drivers.
    2. Turn off SLI / Crossfire
    3. Turn off your anti-virus software before launching the game, but make sure you turn it back on after playing.
    4. Try using only one GPU first (turn the other one off via your graphics control panel)
    5. Try running the game in Windowed Mode (usually works for low-end PCs)
    6. Disable anti-aliasing and filtering
    7. Disable V-sync
    8. Disable background apps, and turn off your anti-virus software
