Not getting automatic IP on Windows 10 Technical Preview notebook

There is some problem with my Windows 10 Technical Preview notebook. And the issue is with the IP address. Whenever you connect a system to wifi it automatically assign a IP to the same. And the internet starts working. But in my Windows 10 Technical Preview notebook there is some problem.

It is not taking an IP address. I used ipconfig /all command on the same to find out the IP and it shows me nothing. I had tried reconnecting it a number of time but it keeps on failing.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Can be some issue with the wifi adapter. This usually does not happen. When you connect to the new wifi it detects and configure the internet for usage.

But if this is not working then you have to simply re-install the wifi adapter back again and try. You can go in device manager for that. Before doing it is necessary that you can find the latest version of drivers.

From device manager just right click on the wifi adapter and choose uninstall. Restart your pc and done. Run the new wifi driver setup and test.

Right click on the internet connection icon in the system tray and click on Diagnose. This is a automatically troubleshooter that will try to apply the most basic settings to your system and you might able to get a IP settings restored.

Just try this out once and then test back. I am quite sure this will start working. If it fails then you have to test once by adding a lan cable. And see if it is taking a IP details or not. If it takes then the issue is with the wifi only. You can try turning off your antivirus for some time and recheck.
