Synchronize Outlook contacts with Samsung Galaxy S

I try my Outlook contacts with my Samsung Galaxy S sync, but nothing happens. What I want to do is: Contacts from Outlook export, import contacts into Gmail/Contacts. These are displayed as well, but they are replaced by special characters. I also tried to keep the Samsung Galaxy S sync on auto but it also did not worked. So guys can someone over here help me out.

I have over 500 contacts synced with gSyncit and have no problems with umlauts. I think you are doing some mistakes will synchronizing just try it properly I think it should work as I have never faced such kind of problem and I have never heard also.

I removed everything changed, and the duplicate entries. These are caused by the fact that Google has not taken over the umlauts. For example, if road ss but not with attachments with ß, then the contact will be created twice. But as the contacts are on my Samsung Galaxy S? On the Gmail side, all contacts are visible and marked. Where is the button with the "send" I can? Or else how this works?

The special characters you can change manually, which are then displayed correctly later. Show times are at your chosen contacts / display settings if your Google contacts there at all. Even when creating new contacts you have to make sure that these contacts will be posted in the Google and not into the phone, or is not synced.
