That is correct dude. The 'F8' function for booting in Safe mode has been removed from the Windows 8, like it was in earlier windows. Even i tried few times to get in the same mode but that dint worked. Hence yet searching for the web how can i get in windows 8 safe mod. Lets see if anyone can help us. :-\

Well, you are right RA-One, Microsoft has removed the feature of F8 to get in the safemod and made it little tricky.

You need to follow the below Steps to boot your Windows 8 in Safe mode:

    • Go to the Start Screen and type 'MSCONFIG', press Enter.
    • Once the window is open, click on 'Boot' Tab.
    • Now Check mark the box with option 'Safe Boot' under boot options.
    • You will get the new option here where you need to select the type of boot you need:
      • Minimal. For normal safe mode.
      • Alternate Shell. For safe mode with a command prompt.
      • Network. For safe mode with networking.
    • Select the option and reboot your system

Windows 8 will now boot in Safe mode 8)

    Ohh sorry :P , i forgot that.

Well its too simple. When you are in safe mod, just repeat the process by typing 'MSCONFIG', go to the 'BOOT' Tab and uncheck the option 'Safe Boot'.

Now restart the PC and you will be back to the normal boot. ;D
