    Can I install Android L on Nexus 7 2012?

Android L Developer Preview is released in the market that has more impressive screen UI. And I had seen many people are testing the same. I want to know whether Android L Developer Preview will work in Nexus 7 2012. This will surely work on the new mobile version. But what about the old one. If it works then we can use the old Nexus more effectively. I had matched the hardware configuration here which is not very low. It is enough to run Android L. I want an experts advice here.

I am not really sure but this thing is released for the new nexus model. And it is out in the market. I had also seen some custom roms for the same. I will recommend you to test that. But you need to root and backup your existing rom.

So that if there is any problem while installing the rom or if the Android L OS does not work you can restore the old rom back again. I am doubtful about the same. Because this new OS is built to work with new hardware with some optimization which lacks in the old one.

It might work. It is worth testing. Just try to install. It is good if you can backup your existing rom so that things are more simple. You will not have any issue if your device is bricked or stop booting. At that point you will need your official stock firmware to restore things. I am quite sure you don't really want to mess with the existing device if it is working fine. You have to find the right custom rom that can restore your phone original state back again. And that is quiet important.
