Adding POP or IMAP email account in Windows 8 Consumer Preview

Well, me to a Windows 8 CP user, installed in a week ago. Am very happy will of its new features and interface like the email service provided in. I tried to search an option for adding few email accounts using POP or IMAP service but I dint got any. Is there any way to do the same? Can I add any mail account using iMAP or POP ??

I don’t think so. As of now the Mail preview is only compatible with e-mail services that make use of Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) for example Gmail or Hotmail. Lets see if Microsoft can add any such services.

In Windows 8 Consumer preview there is no built in support for POP or IMAP. We need to wait for the Final release and hope Microsoft can add the same.
