5,900mAh battery for Samsung Galaxy S5

Can I use a third party battery on Samsung Galaxy S5. I found a blog on the web that shows up a 5900mAh battery. This means a very high battery capacity compare to the existing one. But I am doubtful about using the same.

Many people say that it is not safe to use a third party battery which has higher capacity compare to the official one. Samsung does not provide this kind of batteries in the market. I want a bit good solution for battery. Any suggestion will be appreciated.

You can use it. But it is on your own risk. I had heard that even a tiny voltage difference can affect your phone hardware. That is the reason officially you don't get such a high capacity battery.

5900 mAh means a good battery life, but it will also take a long time to recharge. You can test if you want. Check the cost before buying. If it is too costly then you can do one thing. But one more original battery and use it like a backup.

I had also seen that post and I think it is going to work well. The cost of this battery is around $89.50. So this one makes it costly but a very effective solution for getting good battery backup. You have to two batteries here if you buy this one. The one is regular that gives you a 6 to 8 hrs of usage and other one is this high capacity. If you are doubtful about buying the same then you can try one more thing. You can use power banks.
