If am not wrong every Facebook user is aware of Zynga games. In spite of having derived huge of its profits from Facebook, Zynga seems to be re-evaluating its all eggs /one basket strategy. Zynga has made a great decision today by announcing their own website (game portal). Now instead of going to Facebook, users can play all Zynga games directly on Zynga’s own gaming portal.

The beta version of this gaming portal will be launch early in next days including hits like CastleVille, Zynga Poker, Hidden Chronicles, and CityVille. According to Zynga founder and CEO Mark Pincus, “Zynga.com is designed to make it easier for you to play with friends. We’re excited to offer new features like the live Social Stream which will enable you to play in real time with your friends and find new ones.” In addition John Schappert, COO of the company added “want a place where they can find dedicated social games, where the feed is just about gaming.” “We’ve been a web/game company delivering content to our players and developing our own internal infrastructure and technology. And now we’re transforming into a gaming and platform company,” said Zynga’s John Schappert.“We’ve listened to our players, to what they want from social gaming. They want a place where they can play together, they want a place that curates and delivers the best new social games for them, where they’ll always have a friend to play with.”

According to the press release, “The Zynga Platform is designed with two simple goals: more access to the best social games and more people to play with. In a few days we're turning on a beta of Zynga.com which will feature our most popular games: Words with Friends, CastleVille, Zynga Poker, Hidden Chronicles and CityVille. Soon after, we will be adding great games from other developers too.Every day, we think about the challenges in enabling play. How can we surface more friends that want to help you build your bridge in CityVille? How do we help you find your perfect match in Words With Friends?

Zynga.com is designed to make it easier for you to play with friends. We're excited to offer new features like the live Social Stream which will enable you to play in real time with your friends and find new ones. Player profiles will let you check your friends? Helpfulness score to see who's most likely to help you back. And you?ll be able to chat and play live with your friends and a community of players interested in the same games as you.”

They also added that except connecting gamers, this new portal will also offer other services like profiles highlighting gamers’ achievements and favorite titles, as well as a live chat system that will allow people to swap strategies and send gifts. Now lets see how Facebook reacts on this decision as to access the site users will need a Facebook login.
