How to revert Official Stock ROM on Karbonn Titanium S1

Now a days almost all Android devices get rooted to get the Administrative access to the system which in return allows us to do lots more with the phone which we were not able to do earlier. Although Rooting avoids your device's warranty but you are able to install custom ROMs or several important application which cannot be used without root access. It is really good, isn't it?

However, sometimes things goes wrong while rooting or after installing Custom ROMs. Few of your services or hardwares stops working with third party ROMs. In such cases the only fix is to revert back to Original Stock ROM, i mean official rom with which the phone was launched. So, today i am going to show you how you can revert back to Stock Rom on your Karbonn Titanium S1 in case anything has went wrong with the system. Let's start:

    Pre-Requirements:

Before going for the actual process, here are few things you need to take care as they needs to be met for the process. Here they are:

    • First of all Backup or your important data from the phone such as contacts, messages, multimedia files, documents, etc. Everything will be wiped out while installing the ROM.
    • Make sure the phone is charged atleast 60% as it should not get drained out during the process.
    • Go to phone's settings and enable USB Debugging. You can do this from Settings > Applications > Development > USB Debugging.
    • Now download Titanium S1 Stock ROM and save it on your desktop.

    Installation Process:

    • Start the process by connecting your phone to the Computer via USB and copy the download Stock ROM to the phone's SD Card.
    • Disconnect the phone and turn it off.
    • Once completely turned off, press and hold Volume Up + Power key for about 15 seconds to boot the phone into Recovery Mode.
    • Now use your volume rockers to scroll up and down, and select "Wipe data/Factory reset"
    • Once done, select Wipe Cache.
    • Now select Advance Option at the bottom and select Wipe Dalvik Cache
    • Now from the main Recovery screen, select 'Install Zip from SD Card'. Browse and select the Downloaded Rom Package from SD card and select to install.
    • Now wait for couple of minutes and let the ROM install.
    • Once completed, go back to the main Recovery screen and select 'Reboot System Now'.

That's it. You are done. As this is the first boot with new ROM, it may take a bit longer time to boot. So dont panic and let it boot politely. After boot, you will find your Titanium S1 running on the Original stock ROM like earlier when you bought the phone.

    Enjoy.
