HTC's next hit is about to make its launch on Monday February 24th at MWC 2014. It is "HTC Desire 8" which is a mid ranged Phablet with 5.5 inch touch screen display offering 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. Running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system with HTC Sense 6.0 the phone comes in two variants, i.e. single SIM and dual sim.

Although the specifications are not confirmed, here are some leaked information so far for the device. HTC has powered Desire 8 with 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 (MSM8926) processor and 1GB of RAM from which we can surely expect better performance and smooth multitasking on such large display. Its another attraction could be its 13 Megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 5 Megapixel front-facing camera for video calling and conferencing. As of now the internal storage capacity is not confirmed but there is an expandable memory slot. As far as connectivity is concerned, the device looks good with support of 4G LTE / 3G, WiFi a/b/g/n/ac, GPS with a-GPS and Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX.
