Asus revealed today the successor of Transformer in form of "Transformer Book Duet TD300" which is actually a hybrid PC running Android and Windows 8.1 Dual booted operating system. Specialty of this laptop is that you can change the operating systems in just 4 seconds of time frame by pressing dedicated button. Yes, Asus has confirmed the 4 second time frame for switching the OSes.


The new Transformer Book Duet comes with a detachable keyboard dock which makes it laptop and tablet. Coming to the specifications, it is running Android 4.1 Jellybean and Windows 8.1 operating system. Asus has powered the device with 4th generation Intel core i7 processor which makes it quite powerful for smooth performance. The laptop has a 13.3 inch Full HD 1080p display offering 1366 768 pixel resolution.

As per storage device has 128 GB SSD along with 768GB space built-in in the Keyboard Dock. So when you are using the tab with keyboard docked, you get over 900GB space. The keyboard also has connectivity ports such as ethernet, HDMI and USB ports. Asus Transformer Book Duet TD300 will be priced at $599.
