HTC unveils "HTC One Max" Phablet with Fingerprint Scanner and 5.9-inch Full HD display

HTC today unveiled their next high end phablet named as "HTC One Max" with powerful specifications. The device comes with 5.9-inch Full HD touch screen display offering 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution at 373 ppi offering better, sharper and brighter display output. The phablet will be running on Android 4.3 Jellybean with Sense 5.5 UI. The special part of this phone is that it comes with Fingerprint scanner just like the new iPhone 5S using which you can lock or unlock the device. One interesting thing here is that the fingerprint scanner is located at the rear side of the phone, just below the camera like the volume rockers are placed in LG G2.

Apart from that HTC One Max is powered with 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor with 2GB of RAM making the device powerful enough for smooth performance, better multitasking and lag free gaming. As per storage we get 16GB or 32GB built-in storage memory which can be further expanded upto 64GB using MicroSD Card. Being an high end device, it looks even better in connectivity with support of 3G HSPA+ up to 42 Mbps, WiFi 802.11 a/ac/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX codec, DNLA, MHL, GPS with GLONASS, and NFC. Other features of the device contains HTC Zoe, HTC BoomSound, Infrared remote control, etc

As all new HTC devices comes with better camera solution, it continues with HTC One Max as well. The phone features 28 mm lens and BSI Sensor powered UltraPixel rear camera with LED Flash. Users can record FULL HD 1080p video with this camera in HDR also. There is also a 2.1 Megapixel HD front-facing camera for making video calls in high quality video. HTC powered the phone with 3300 mAh battery which may accompany you for an entire day in one charge. As of now there is no word on pricing but we will update the same soon here. As far as availability is concerned, most probably the device should launch in next couple of weeks.
