LG Optimus L3II and Optimus L7II Dual SIM Smartphones launched in India

LG Mobiles recently launched two new smartphones under “Optimus” series in India. They are LG Optimus L3II which is launched for the price of Rs.8,800/- and the second one which is LG Optimus L7II for Rs.18,640. Both devices are running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and loaded with the decent hardware configuration. The devices are released under the list of budget and high end devices. But somehow this does not look to be some kind of official released. The first one LG Optimus L3II Dual is a decent Jelly Bean device that has 1GHZ of CPU and 512MB of RAM. It is loaded with LG Optimus 3.0 UI instead of the default Jellybean that adds better output on the user interaction. The device is just 11.9mm thick and the front scree size lies around 3.1 inch. It is a True IPS display with QVGA Resolution. The camera output of the device is around 3MP with common enhancement features It is a decent budget phone with latest Android OS which makes the device more better in terms of performance.

    LG Optimus L3II Specifications:

    • Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean)
    • Dual SIM (GSM + GSM)
    • 3.2-inch capacitive touch screen IPS display

    • 3.2 MP fixed focus camera
    • 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, aGPS

The second device is LG L7II Dual. The cost of this device as mentioned above lies somewhat near to Rs. 19,000/-. It is a bit high end phone with better specification. It has the same 1 GHz processor but a bit higher ram which is around 768MB. It is sleeker in designed compared to the above one. The phone’s thickness is just around 9.7mm and weight lies around 120grams. The screen size is bit bigger which lies around 4.3inch. It features true IPS display with WVGA resolution. It comes with 8 Megapixel rear camera with the same common features. Both the devices have 4Gb internal storage. So it looks LG has provide two different kind of devices with a bit changes in configuration with the new OS.

Both of these devices are officially launched in India. Once interesting part related to these smartphones is LG has listed the price for Optimus L3 II at Rs.8,800 and Optimus L7 II at Rs.18,650, whereas some online vendors in India such as Flipkart has started selling the devices at the price of Rs. 7,899/- and Rs. 14,990/-. Optimus L7II seems to be bit bigger compared to L3II. It is better in look and output. It looks the phone is not in the news for long time. But as we compare the device with some other phones in the market under Price of Rs.20,000 then there are chances that we found this a bit more costlier. But I found this device better than Galaxy Grand. It is good In Design and has smooth interface. With the Optimus 3.0 UI the touch is surely more better.

There is a huge list of choices below Rs.20,000. And surely there are more devices with better hardware configuration. Like Sony Xperia P, HTC Desire V, etc. But I am waiting for the S4. I found Xperia Z as one of the most recent and best smartphone in the market. S3 is also great. But somehow I hope the device might lie below RS.25 in future that will make affordable for everyone to get such a decent device. LG does not look to be giving great products.

Re: LG Optimus L3II and Optimus L7II Dual SIM Smartphones launched in India

    Hi everyone,

Certainly it seems that these models didn't get much buzz in the market during the time they have been available in the market. I think the L7II wasn't a high-end device since it jumped into the market as long as there was other brands with better offers. On the other hand, the L3II is a cheap device from where we can't expect outstanding features, actually I think it was pretty much good value for its affordable price. As somebody mentioned in this thread, it seems that LG isn't developing any attractive model lately, but hope this brand gain some track in the coming months.

    Regards
